After days of work to get the track back in shape after the rainstorm, the gates opened this morning at 8am for the scheduled Sunday Practice Session. Gates will be open til 330p. Practice til 5pm.

First NEMX Race Postponed
After discussing track conditions with coordinators from NEMX track officials at MX 101 are postponing the season’s first NEMX race. A new date will be announced shortly. The decision comes after a week of inclement weather that brought more than an inch of rain to the area. “Track conditions are well below the standard racers competing for a championship would expect. We always strive to provide the best race surface possible. Given the fact we’ve had a significant amount of rain over the past week track conditions cannot be brought up to that standard by Saturday,” said New England Dragway General Manager Joe Lombardo.

Practice Canceled Today 5-2-2012 Due to Heavy Rain

Hi everyone,

The heavy rains saturated the track and with more rain on the way the decision was made to cancel practice today in order to ensure the track is ready for this weekend’s NEMX/NCSC race this weekend which will be great racing!!

Come out and race or come out and watch!! Bring the kids to see the riders clearing the newly adjusted 101 foot triple into the Sand section!!!

Racer In Need: Lost Gear Bag

On 4/29/12 a rider accidentally left their gear bag up on the hill at MX101. When he returned the bag was gone. The owner is hoping that a good samaritan picked up the bag. The bag and equipment can be turned into Jason Farrell at MX101 or dropped off at the New England Dragway office. The owner is offering a reward for it’s return.

NEMX/NCSC Comes To MX101 on May 5

MX101 Season has opened and the 2012 season is underway

Although weather delayed the April 1st season opener, MX101 opened it gates April 7th and hundreds of racers came for the 1st practice session of the 2012 season. This past Weds, Sat and Sunday brought nice weather for the first full week of practice sessions and hundreds of riders took advantage of a full week of practice sessions.

MX 101 Opening Delayed To April 7

Repairs to MX 101 are forcing track officials to delay the opening of New Hampshire’s newest motocross facility to April 7. “Even though we had a relatively mild winter heavy rain storms created quite a few washouts and ruts that need to be fixed before we can get the season underway,” states New England Dragway General Manager Joe Lombardo. “Jason (Farrell) and… his crew spent all of last weekend trying to repair those areas, but they need another weekend to get it race ready.”

The April 7, Saturday practice session will begin at 9 AM. Gates will open at 8 AM. Lombardo added, “We realize there’s a lot of anxious riders out there ready to get their 2012 season going. Our goal is to provide them with the best facility we can. I think they will agree that the wait was worth it. Also set to debut this month is a new section that will significantly lengthen the size of the motocross facility.

Opening Day Is Almost Here….April 1st

Opening Day for MX101 and New England Dragway is scheduled for April 1st. This of course will depend upon mother nature to give us good weather so that we can get the track groomed and ready to ride on.
